I use very basic software for capturing and processing the images. I capture the avi files with Philips Vrecord. I also use WcRmac-WebCam Macro Tool and WcCtrl to modify and control the webcam settings.
The avi files are stacked with Registax and the resulting images are post-processed with Photoshop.
